LiquiCaps — nighttime cold & flu relief
Order NyQuil Cold & Flu 12oz — Relieve Fever, Cough, Congestion & Sore Throat at Night
12oz liquid bottle (approximately 8 adult doses)
NyQuil Cold & Flu is a multi-symptom nighttime OTC medication that relieves cold and flu symptoms so you can rest and recover overnight. It contains three active ingredients: acetaminophen (pain/fever), dextromethorphan (cough suppressant), and doxylamine succinate (antihistamine/sleep aid). The liquid formulation provides fast absorption and onset of action.
NyQuil Cold & Flu is indicated for the relief of nighttime relief of cold and flu symptoms including fever, sore throat, cough, nasal congestion, runny nose, sneezing, headache, and minor body aches. It is approved for OTC use and does not require a prescription for standard adult doses.
NyQuil's three-ingredient formula works synergistically. Acetaminophen reduces fever and relieves sore throat pain and body aches. Dextromethorphan (DXM) suppresses cough by acting on the cough center in the brain. Doxylamine succinate, a sedating antihistamine, relieves runny nose and sneezing while also promoting sleep — allowing your body to rest and heal overnight. Onset is typically 30 minutes.
Adults and children 12 and over: Take 30mL (2 tablespoons) every 6 hours as needed. Do not take more than 4 doses in 24 hours. Do not take with other medications containing acetaminophen. Use the measuring cup provided. Do not exceed the recommended dose. Contains sedating antihistamine — do not drive or operate machinery after use.
NyQuil is for adults and children 12 and older. Do not use if you have liver disease, heart disease, high blood pressure, glaucoma, enlarged prostate, or thyroid problems. Not for daytime use — use DayQuil for daytime symptoms. Avoid if pregnant or breastfeeding without medical advice. Do not give to children under 12.
Drowsiness is expected and desired for nighttime use — do not drive or operate machinery. Other effects include dizziness, dry mouth, blurred vision, and upset stomach. Avoid alcohol with NyQuil. Do not use with MAOIs or other sleep medications. Contains acetaminophen — do not take with other acetaminophen products to avoid liver damage risk.
